Mary and Damian's summer wedding in Cornwall took place in Mary's stepmother's village in Cornwall, with a church wedding on a truly swelteringly hot day, and not a cloud in the sky.
There was a tropical theme with the flowers and Mary's hair was a literal rainbow of incredible braids. I was hired for just 3 hours, so caught the ceremony and some portraits after. We had a bit of a hindrance in the church as the vicar wouldn't allow photos up the front - a problem I ran into a lot in 2022... but I pushed the boundaries just enough to get some key moments for them.
Afterwards, Mary's brother went to get boxes of traditional Cornish pasties, which everyone demolished, and there was confetti and champagne and lots of group photos before we took off for some portraits away from the crowd. Although it's just a short portion of the day that I'm able to submit - a huge amount of colour, emotion and character was on show in these few hours which I hope you'll love as much as I do!
